Hey, 👋 I'm Brisa, a Master Architect in Sustainable Architecture and Front-end developer enthusiast. Born and raised in the São Paulo countryside in Brazil, I've always had a passion for using my imagination and creativity, especially in design and creation.
In 2009, I moved to São Paulo to pursue a 5-year bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism. Graduating in 2014, I then relocated to Norway, where I experienced real snow for the first time in my life ☃️ - truly magical! I dedicated myself to adapting to the culture and language of my new home.
In 2016, I embarked on an international 2-year master’s degree program in Sustainable Architecture at NTNU. It was an enriching experience collaborating with classmates from around the world, delving into techniques to improve architectural designs and reduce environmental impact using project simulator software and LCA calculations.
My initial work experience in Norway was with an architecture office, where I gained proficiency in tools like Lumion, ArchiCAD, and BIM.
The onset of the pandemic made the job market even more competitive. To adapt, I ventured into coding 👩💻.
In 2021, I secured a position as an Architect in a Norwegian company, where I've been employed since. Here, I've deepened my knowledge of constructing houses in Norway, from technical drawings compliant with legislation to understanding building requirements and standards, as well as managing my own projects. I currently work as an Architect BIM developer and sustainability specialist, where I get to perform environmental impact calculations and research and test software and technologies.
